Joust in Norman, 09.12.2007

I repped the boneshakers at the Martin Custom Cycles Tallbike Joust yesterday. Here's a video (I showed up hella late so I'm at the end). That's me almost getting my teeth bashed in at the three and a half minute mark--still not sure how that happened.

Your Rights as a Bicyclist

Here's a link to a condensed version of the Oklahoma Bicycle Law, recently passed by governor Brad Henry.

You gotta know your rights to use them.

I might put all of the relevant bicycle laws for each chapter in a page (link in the top bar, etc) if there's any interest from the other presidents.

Norman Booze Cruise

robosauce's picture

The cruise went great saturday night. Nick got his prospecting colors, a good ten or so people showed up, mayhem ensued. Turns out you can get pitchers of shiner bock at the Vista for 5.50.

Norman protocols have been established: "initiates" are inducted on the first cruise of the month. After one month, they are allowed full membership. Prospecting colors are a hot pink t-shirt with the sprocketfist and crossed wrenches over the heart in black with the area code down the back, also in black.

Hopefully the Norman cruise will get much bigger in the future.

my week long vacation ended thursday, from surreal vancouver landscape and 70 degree average, back to misquito infested 102 degree joklahoma. damnit. the good news is i've managed to stay under the radar at work, and have spent most of my day yesterday watching zoo bomb videos. i want to go back.
